Founded in 2015 and based in Edwards, Colorado, Optimized Oxygen is a leader in advanced residential altitude-control solutions. We design customized single- and multi-room oxygen systems, pioneering high-flow technology for private homes and setting a new standard for performance and reliability.
Founder Matt Formato, a lifelong athlete, competed at elite levels in collegiate basketball, track and field, and golf. A graduate of Kenyon College with a degree in Political Science, he built a career at the intersection of athletics, technology, and exercise science within the field of altitude simulation.
For over 15 years, Matt has worked with world-class athletes, teams, and high-performing individuals. He currently splits his time between Summit County, Colorado, and the Catskill Mountains in New York.
Our UL-listed systems and industrial-grade components ensure long-term durability and industry-leading warranties. With a Colorado-based team delivering fully turnkey installations, each project is executed with precision and care—tailored to the home’s architecture, elevation, and lifestyle.
